Interactive Strategies is a full-service digital agency in Washington, DC. We work with nonprofits, associations, and mission-driven organizations on the things that matter most to them â web, brand identity, social ads, digital campaigns, fundraising, and advocacy. The work is varied, and so is the creative talent we draw on to do it.
We keep an active roster of freelance creatives to call on when the right project comes along, and we're looking to expand it.

Our creative work spans a wide range â and we don't expect any one person to cover all of it. We look for designers with a strong aesthetic sensibility, an understanding of brand identity, and a passion for creating work that is both beautiful and effective.

UX and web design â you bring unique, yet functional solutions to a website's most common problems
Brand identity â you can develop and extend a brand's identity across visual brand systems, logos, and style guides
Digital marketing and campaign design â you develop relevant designs that are fresh, timely and stop the scroll on social media, in inboxes, and on the web
Fundraising and advocacy creative â you create designs that move people to act
Illustration â you bring a story to life using your original work
Motion and animation â you catch attention, or tell a more complete story, using movement

Benefits
Salary Range
Freelance engagements are compensated at $70-95/hour depending on experience and project scope. Applicants must reside in the US. Freelance roles are project-based, 1099/independent contractor engagements.
